Independent Care Waiver Program (ICWP)
We offer care services to adults with physical disabilities and traumatic brain injuries who want to live in their own homes instead of hospitals or nursing homes. Adults who can qualify for this service must be eligible Medicaid members with severe physical disabilities and are 21 to 64 years old.
Services offered:
- Personal Support Services (PSS)
We provide personal care tasks such as:
- Assistance with eating,
- Assistance with bathing,
- Assistance with dressing,
- Assistance with personal hygiene,
- Assistance with light meal preparation,
- Assistance with light housekeeping tasks and other activities of daily living.
- Extended Personal Support Services (PSSX)
Refer to those tasks designed for members who need assistance with activities of daily living, as well as relieve those person(s) usually providing care or oversight to include:
- Assistance with bathing,
- Assistance with dressing,
- Assistance with personal grooming and hygiene,
- Medication reminders,
- Monitor vital signs, diet, nutrition, and exercise,
- Meal preparation, and light housekeeping, and many more
