Health and Safety First

As a provider of in-home healthcare, Metnurse Health Services, Inc. joins healthcare institutions everywhere in doing our share of curbing the spread of COVID-19. We follow strict protocols on sanitation, hygiene, and distancing to reduce the risk of infection and secure the well-being of our clients, employees, staff, and families.

Count on us to continue following best practices as we serve you and your loved ones at home.

To do this, we rely on valuable information provided by public and private medical institutions. Accurate information is vital in these trying times, and we would gladly help you access some of that today.

Find the Latest Information from Trusted Sources

Never trust information that doesn’t come from a reliable resource. One of your best choices is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It details important information on the pandemic, including the fact that seniors and patients with chronic conditions are most at risk of the coronavirus, and that following hygiene and distancing protocols is one of the best ways to reduce your risk.

Keeping Best Practices for Continuous Care

Metnurse Health Services, Inc. is an essential service provider, which is why we keep serving you during the COVID-19 quarantine. We regularly review CDC guidelines to guarantee your safety at all times.

In particular, we follow these guidelines:

  • Avoid commonly-touched surfaces with your hands whenever possible, such as doorknobs, tabletops, elevator buttons, restroom surfaces, computer keyboards, etc.
  • Clean and disinfect such surfaces and objects frequently using a regular household cleaning spray or wipes.
  • Keep your hands away from your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water frequently for at least 20 seconds.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • If you are sick, stay home.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Avoid crowds, especially in poorly ventilated spaces. Your risk of exposure to COVID-19 rises dramatically in such areas.
  • Avoid all non-essential travel, including plane trips and cruise ships.

Consider following your community’s safety protocols as much as possible. If you would like to learn more about our safety guidelines, contact us at any time.
