The Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), Direct Support Staff (DSS), and Direct Support Professional (DSP) are certified and paraprofessional members of the Private Home Care team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient’s, client’s, or individual’s personal needs, to promote the their comfort, and a safe environment. Our companionate caregivers are responsible for observing patients, clients, individuals and reporting/documenting there observations while providing these services:
- Assistance with Daily Living Activities (ADLs)
- Assistant with Instrumental Daily Living Activities (IADLs)
- Assistance with exercise programs approved by your physician
- Mobility Assistance
- Monitoring vital signs
- Light Housekeeping
- Meal Preparation
- Personal Laundry (appropriate)
- Post-Surgery Support and Care
- Personal Grooming
- Medication Reminders
- Assisting with Personal hygiene
